A mocking jay is a bird. it is part Jabberjay and part Mocking bird.

The JabberJays were Capitol mutts used in war, who could repeat

a whole human convertsation.

When the rebles caught on they began to tell lies.

the capitol eventually let the Birds die off in the wild.

But they didn't die off.

Instead, they mated with the Mocking Bird,

spawning the Mockingjay.

A Mockingjay can mock tunes and whistles,

music in general, and you can see one in

flight on Katniss' pin.

A mocking jay is the symbol of the Rebelion.

Hi, it's EFFIE! I am here with my partner to tell you about the awesome new news! And now it's me, TIGRIS! We are going to tell you about are new, totally awesome, over the top brand-new contest! Yeah, contest! I love contests! Tigris, you ready?! All set, Effie! Then here it is! For this contest you have to write an ABC poem on the Hunger Games! The idea is you create a list of all things Hunger Games, with EVERY SINGLE letter of the alphabet, including X and Z, no matter how hard they may be.
